EPIC League Spring is the Next RMR-event for CIS and Oceania

It has been revealed that the Russian Esports Federation will organize the next RMR-events for CIS and Oceania. To achieve it, they will cooperate with Epic Esports Events, a tournament operator known for their EPICENTER series. The events will be called EPIC League Spring 2021.

The CIS event is scheduled for May 12th – 30th and offers $40,000 up for grabs. The tournament’s line-up will include sixteen teams, half of them have been already revealed – they are the leaders of last year’s RMR NAVI, Team Spirit, Nemiga Gaming and Virtus.pro, as well as four invited teams EPG Family, forZe, Gambit Esports and Trident Clan. The rest of the participants will be determined through the qualifiers scheduled for May 9th – 12th.

The organizers have shared little information about the Oceanic tournament – only that it will feature a $10,000 prize pool and that its main part will be played on May 24th – 30th, while the qualifiers will be held on May 23rd. More information is expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.

Earlier this week Beyond the Summit revealed the list of teams invited to the North American RMR-event CS_Summit 8 – among them are EXTREMUM, FURIA Esports, Evil Geniuses, and Team Liquid, while Bad News Bears, Extra Salt, GODSENT and paiN Gaming will compete in the closed qualifier.
